I'm still engrossed in this, and totally in awe of the parallels. Reading now about FDR's first hundred days at the same time as watching the Obama transition. Incredible.

I'm getting a surprisingly big kick out of the fact that Barack Obama and I are reading the same book.

So far one of the most engaging -- and entertaining -- bios I've read. Entertaining on account of all the colorful anecdotes.

I do wish this was published in two volumes. It's excellent, so far, but a monster to pick up every night.

The preface actually has me really excited to dig into the rest.
